Scenic Campground ~ South Sioux City Iowa

Looking for a clean riverside campground with small city view?

Scenic Campground is clean, attractive and well kept. Last year 1/2 the campground was flooded but the rebuild with many more premium sites is beautiful. It sits across the river from Sioux City.

Great place to restock ( McDonalds and liquor are a 3 minute drive.) Camp staff are friendly and accommodating. You can reserve a site calling ahead from the road. They can set you up for late evening arrival.

Second stay here and the city view at sunset (this pic is a sunrise) is still just as pleasing. Nice clean shower, “Grizzly Claw Kicking Horse Extra dark” coffee by French press and a walk along the riverfront at sunrise are an excellent way to start your days journey.
