I’m sure all of you have heard the buzz word social media over the past few years and the society has really wanted to give it a try and launch into this exciting new world to connect with our members outside of our meetings and so we can become a global network.



We currently have two (2) social media projects rolling along. Our Social Networking Ning site will be reaching its second semester soon and it has really grown with member-only benfits featuring articles by Dr. Ken Kremer and great astronomical images by our members. Secondly, our facebook page is coming along nicely. Please feel free to join along with us so you can receive updates posted by the astronomy community. We are using facebook as a tool to reach potentially millions of users globally! Be sure to take part in one of these exciting ventures Rittenhouse is trying out.
